Direct Cart Seats Limited Warranty
At DIRECT CART SEATS, we take pride in the quality of our products. Our warranty covers material flaws, breakdowns, and manufacturing defects. Please note that the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage unrelated to manufacturing.
Upholstery products are warranted to be free of material and workmanship defects to the original retail purchaser for private use for the period of one year.
Products used for commercial purposes, including rental fleets or other commercial applications, are covered by a 60-day limited warranty.
All warranties are effective from the original retail purchase date. Please have your purchase order or invoice number available when contacting customer service.
Damage is not a defect. Damage caused by rough handling, improper installation or techniques, sharp or abrasive objects, improper cleaning materials, improper cleaning techniques or other types of abuse, misuse or neglect are excluded from this limited warranty. If the item is damaged in shipping, contact us and we will assist you with a claim with the carrier.
We do our best to protect our products during shipping. In the case of complete seat cushion assemblies, we use substantial foam cushioning or air packaging bubbles to isolate the seat from typical handling in the shipping process, but soft goods such as vinyl are not indestructible. If a seat is dropped outside of its protective packaging, the vinyl can easily be cut by getting pinched between the hard surface and the seat base board inside. We have drop tested in our packaging and it protects against small drops but drops more than four feet can damage the vinyl.
In case of a defect, the original owner must promptly contact the retailer with proof of purchase to arrange warranty repairs. Warranty repairs will be completed free of charge and returned within a reasonable time. Direct Cart Seats reserves the right to replace the defective item rather than repairing it. Packaging and transportation costs to the Direct Cart Seats facility in Birmingham, AL are the customer’s responsibility and Direct Cart Seats will cover the return via standard shipping. The warranty is void if the product is altered or modified and is non-transferable, applying only to the original retail purchaser.
